You will have\u00a0<strong>only 30 days to complete it<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Visit the FNS website to fill out your reauthorization application.<\/strong><ul><li>After receiving your unique identification number, visit the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fns.usda.gov\/snap\/reauthorization-application-sign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-gaid=\"Body - FNSwebsite 1\"><strong>FNS website<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to fill out your application. You will need to update any or all of the information on your initial application form.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Submit additional documentation.<\/strong><ul><li>After you submit your online application, the USDA will ask you to submit additional documentation. The documentation requested can change from store to store. Requested documentation may include:<ul><li>an affidavit stating that the current owners\/officers\/members of your store are not involved with any previously disqualified SNAP persons and reporting any criminal convictions and\/or license revocations<\/li><li>a copy of all of your store\u2019s current business licenses<\/li><li>your store\u2019s bank information and signature card<\/li><li>federal, personal and business tax returns<\/li><li>invoice records or sales records<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Be prepared for a USDA site visit.<\/strong><ul><li>USDA may require a site visit as part of the reauthorization process. Site visits are not normally scheduled in advance. Upon their arrival, the site visit contractors should identify themselves to the store manager and obtain the manager\u2019s consent for the visit. The manager can contact the SNAP Retailer Service Center at\u00a0<strong>823.4369<\/strong>\u00a0if there are any questions or concerns about the site visit.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>If your store inventory does not meet current SNAP requirements, submit inventory records.<\/strong><ul><li>If the inspection shows that your store\u2019s inventory does not meet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fns.usda.gov\/snap\/retailer\/eligible\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-gaid=\"Body - currentSNAPrequirements 2\"><strong>current SNAP requirements<\/strong><\/a>, you may be given the opportunity to submit inventory records. You can provide supplier invoices and receipts from grocery purchases, or other records that show food purchases. The goal is to show that your store ordered\/received a sufficient amount of required staple foods within 21 days prior to the store visit.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>After USDA evaluates your revenue and inventory, they will issue a decision letter.<\/strong><ul><li>If your store is reauthorized, the process ends. If your store is denied SNAP reauthorization, you have the right to appeal. If it was determined that your store failed to satisfy the stocking requirements in Criterion A or the sales requirements in Criterion B, you might be tagged as high risk.\u00a0 If this occurs, you will be unable to reapply for SNAP authorization for\u00a0<strong>a minimum of six months<\/strong>, which can be harmful to many businesses.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Criterion A<\/strong><ul><li>A store must have\u00a0<strong>3 stocking units of 3 different varieties<\/strong>\u00a0for each staple food category on a continuous basis. For 2 staple food categories, there must be\u00a0<strong>at least 1 perishable variety<\/strong>.
